Another shot from Cimetiere de Passy in the 16th arrondissement
which overlooks the Eiffel Tower.
I love the bright green of the moss alongside the gorgeous patina of the door.
And of course, the cobblestone walkways.
Since 1820, Passy has housed the remains of such famous names as Debussy, Manet,
Givenchy, Mirbeau, Morisot and Renault.
If not for the names, worth the walk for the beauty,
the view and the chestnut trees.

Years ago I walked Pere La Chasse and really enjoyed it (is that morbid?). The little houses along the paths with their broken down doors and stained glass windows - I wondered if they were for the families of the deceased to pray or sit awhile. I dared not peak my head inside, but did peer through the open doorways.
