Les Pains et fleurs~ Missing Paris Day

Like this photo because it combines two things I love in Paris:
The boulangeries and the florist shops.
Now if I could just be walking down  Boulevard de Grenelle
eating the end off one of these long, honey-colored baguettes
with blossoming flowers for my table.

KIRSTEN! BONJOUR! Oh dear, that header of yours and your photo.....splendid! It is raining here, and we really need it. The gray days are actually some of my favorites, but when I see a sunny and colorful photo of Paris, the chords of my heart just sing wildly.

You are at a writing retreat! ENJOY IT SO! LET GO and just write what comes to your heart, then refine with your mind after.....many hugs and also thanks for coming to visit. Anita

Beautiful pics Kirsten. I even read the title from my high school French. I usually saved my baguettes for the birds and the softer ones for me. How did you like the ruins book?

Two of my favorite things, to be sure! And what a splendid photo, Kirsten. You capture them perfectly!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Marmelade Gypsy and leaving such a nice comment! I always love your visits!

I wish we had more flower shops here in America. I wish every small town could boast at least one or two.
