Happy Spring and Super Bloom

I'm on my way shortly to San Francisco and Marin
for my birthday weekend with my sister!
She and I share the same birthday week
where for that one week, we are the same age.
She has one day left!

Hoping to get some photos
of some of California's Super Bloom
going on now after their crazy winter of rain.

So I'll have to return soon to share the promised pics
of the interior of Notre Dame at Christmas.
Until then, just wanted to say
Happy Spring!

(And right at this moment,
the sun is out for maybe the 3rd time this year.
Hope you're getting some wherever you are.)

  3. Happy Birthday to YOU -- and your sister, too! How wonderful to spend that time together and in such a beautiful environment. It's sunny here but still very cold (though they say it'll warm this weekend). We're all a little itchy to see some of that fabulous color!

Have a great time! I'll look forward to your posts when you return.

  5. Thanks Sandi, my sweet friend. It was amazing to see all the hills around SF so GREEN after all their rain. Even saw running water on Mt. Tam during our hike... which I've never seen before. It was a decadent weekend of celebration with fabulous food, sights and family & friends. Hope you are well!

  6. Jeanie, while it was a great weekend, it RAINED most of the time... which I am NOT used to in SF! And what we were trying to get away from. BUT it was still a magnificent birthday celebration in my favorite US city. Thanks for your sweet wishes and hope you are seeing some of that elusive sun!
