'Missing Paris Day'~ Shakespeare and Co.

Here we are today at the famous Shakespeare and Company reading what George (the owner) has to say about himself. Just be careful when walking in as I once spotted George peering out one of the windows above the entrance, spitting down below. Could have been aiming, could have been hoping to miss. Who knows! Just be forewarned!

Happy Monday everybody!!

FrenchBlue: I actually have the photo of George leaning out the upper window but thought I'd better not post that. Don't you love this bookstore?!

Does he change the chalkboard often? I would give a lot to read all he has to say. I found this absolutely fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing it. Now I must away to search up a copy of The Idiot.

Relyn~ I'm not sure how often he changes it. I believe he has someone else write it for him as he is quite old now. Too bad we couldn't get a skycam to focus right on it to see.
