Monday is 'Missing Paris Day'~Doorway Series

During some of my travels, I 've been known to take Door and Window Series photographs and this is from a little French town, the name of which I have forgotten. This door makes me think of all the things I am missing about France: Foie Gras followed by the taste of Sauterne, champagne before dinner, escargot, open-air markets, the rushing sound of the metro, boats on the Seine, old cobblestones.

And Family! Missing all of you!

Happy Lundi!

what a stunning doorway. and the windows. wow.
paris, no france, no paris, is my achilles heel and any talk of it takes my brain into meltdown and actually hurt a little bit.
i would kill for a noisette and a pain au raisin in one of the 6th's best...

First, let me tell you that I love this image. Second, I love your words. I long for a wonderful front door. My home has a nondescript normal front door. I long for one that whispers a welcome. One that is enticing and memory making. A front door that makes you think of books like Secret Garden.

Relyn~ That was one of my favorite books when I was young. I think you should start your own doorway series collection until you find just the one you want! A door hunt!
