What about you? What were your favorite books of the year?
Good morning Kirsten! I heard about this one and Franzen really is someone I need to read. Oh, to have TIME for a delicious BOOK!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day, Anita
I see I have another book lover also. I will be back for a visit. I love your music also. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say that I do not think I have completed an entire book this year. Is that too much work or what? Have a great wknd. xx
ReplyDeleteI haven't read a single one of these. Oh my.
ReplyDeleteI'm late at responding to this but Freedom definitely has my vote. I loved it, even with all the hoopla surrounding Franzen. I also liked Egan's A Visit from the Good Squad, but it's not for everyone as the structure is quite different. I have read many of the New Yorker stories in the New Yorker, and I have Room on my list. Would love to read Cleopatra, but don't think I'll have time. Whew.
